Below are Assessment Opportunities in Unit 7.3, suggested by teachers at the core training about assessment

Lesson 1
Question and answer starter identifies who understands and who needs more help
Have they brought in an appropriate leaflet?
When creating a design, teacher observation and peer-assessment
Self-assessment of work
Plenary - question and answers, self-assessment
Homework evaluating the success of their work against criteria or objectives

Lesson 2
Self-assessment tick sheet
Verbal group feedback from starter - elicit performance criteria from students
Pupils edit and annotate their own designs, in pairs if necessary or after group evaluation
Plenary to get feedback on learning and understanding achieved

Lesson 3
Question and answer starter
Observe discussions in groups
Annotation of logo
Discussion with groups or individuals as they are working, observation of work
Plenary - assessing and evaluating their own work or in pairs
Homework to assess their understanding of purpose and audience

Lesson 4
Pupils fill in checklist: image chosen, file format, source, and why chosen
Pupils demonstrate how to use a camera and the use of image capture

Lesson 5
Ask a small group to demonstrate the use of a scanner to the rest of the class
