Focus Evenings Focus Evenings
You can contact the Computer Centre on 01296 334994 from 8.30 to 4.00 Monday to Friday during term time.
Focus Evenings provide the opportunity to evaluate new hardware or software, or focus on a particular curriculum area.
Loan Scheme Discounted Software and Loan Scheme
Drop in Facilities Drop-in Facilities

Details of the discounted software and a range of items which may be loaned. Items must be collected from and returned to the Centre.

The Centre is available for teachers who wish to come and work on their own using their own or the Centre software at any time during opening hours 9.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday during term time.

Buckinghamshire LA supports the following Partnerships:

  • The ThamesLEA Region
  • Clicker Centre
  • Onestopeducation.co.uk
Termly meetings are held for ICT Co-ordinators to:
  • Discuss management issues associated with ICT in the curriculum
  • Discuss the implementation of ICT in the National Curriculum
  • Advise on assessment and other statutory responsibilities
  • Update on current issues

NAACEmark Becta’s Self-review Framework and The ICT Mark
Inclusion Inclusion

The self-review framework is an online tool which enables schools to assess and benchmark their use of ICT across all their activities.

An optional accreditation is the ICT Mark; for schools who can demonstrate high achievement in their use of ICT across the whole school.
The Team are able to offer support to teachers wishing to extend the use of ICT in support of inclusion in mainstream education.
