The ICT Curriculum Support Team can offer school
or centre-based support for individual teachers, departments or
whole staff with the following aspects of ICT development:
- School Improvement Plan - ICT - follow-up
support
- Curriculum Audit
- Hardware/software Curriculum audit
- Software copyright audit
- Support with policy/ICT section of the School
Improvement Plan writing
- Support with development of schemes of work
- Support with development of ICT assessment
- In-Service training on software and its integration
into the curriculum
- In-Service training on the use of Moodle Virtual Learning Environment
- In-Service training on the use of peripherals
e.g. Interactive Whiteboards, digital camera
- Advice on accommodation and resource management
School based support is a chargeable service.
The cost is negotiable upon the session length, materials required
etc. Typical costs for
consultancy work are given below**. These have been calculated to
include preparation, materials and travel time.

ICT Curriculum Consultancy half day £175

ICT Curriculum Consultancy twilight £135 (Non-Bucks
LA including Academies - £250
+VAT)
N.B. Schools may join together to share training sessions to reduce
costs.
School based practical (i.e. hands-on) sessions are charged at
the above rate for up to 12 course members. For additional participants
it may be necessary to book more than 1 session or an additional
Team member.
A minimum of 1 computer to two teachers must be available. Training
is for a maximum of 12 teachers.
A full day course will provide a good introduction to the software
plus consideration of curriculum issues.
In a half day course there will be only time to cover the main
features of the software.
In a twilight session there will be time only for an overview
of the software. It may be recommended that you book 2 twilight
sessions for some software.
